Blood of the Lamb
An ornate vial filled with rippling, coagulated blood. When the seal is broken, it cannot be reattached.
It is the sorry misconception of many that the sacrificial lamb is without recourse. Power is never taken, only given. The lamb was never weak, and the slaughterer never strong. The slaughterer seeks to augment themselves, to find place within themselves for more; the lamb is content to be what it is.
The lamb dies, but it never kills.
