Breach Rifle
The favored weapon of a Crimson Constable, who acted as the eyes of the Red Court. The sleek design allows for two Empedoclean rounds to be barreled at once.
When the First Physician and the Pluralists fled the Red Court they were hounded by Constables. Most did not make it back to the academy, and Empedocles was fatally wounded. It was fortunate for the First Physician that the Ruby Lord was executed shortly thereafter, lest he be served summons by the Clerks.
Ironic that the invention of the Empedoclean round would nearly doom Empedocles. We are paid what we invest.
