Steam Monitor Core
Core of the steam monitor which acted as the forge and power source that generated Ephemeral Essence. Functions as a capable replacement for a kin’s eye.
When it was discovered that the Steam Monitor could be altered to mine the Ephemeral Essence needed to power the golemic bodies the Pluralists’ outfitted themselves with, the irony that they could no longer be supplied the precious crystals from the Red Court needed was not lost on the scholars.
Instead the Steam Monitor did what it had always done, and monitored the grounds of Pluralist in silent judgement, all knowing and unable to communicate.
Perhaps the monitor has seen something in you and wished to impart a lesson the Pluralists never learned: the right way, the correct way, and the only way, does not exist.
