Worn Cuffs
Desiccated garments found in the dunes of Khoving’s desert. These were once worn in the style of Chronicle, but have since fallen into disrepair.
The city of Chronicle was the largest the kin ever crafted. When they resisted the giants, the giants damned them from memory, sealing them away in a great book to be forgotten.
For kin, memory informs existence. Their lives, talents, wishes, and spirit are built on foundations of experience. And so the kin thought the giant’s act a tyrannical punishment. But for the unfathomable giants even memory was alien.
