Born Light

Strange sword born of a nascent rebirth. Many strange things follow the death of deathless beings, and far stranger follows their revival. Functions well enough as a sword.

The giants were creatures both alien in appearance and mind, and their creations were no different. But time has shown the giants’ nature corrupts, and nothing is spared this fate.

Can be lit alight within a bright, dark flame the elicits an empty feeling in the gut. The material is lightweight and the hilt feels like the stem of a flower.

Notes: The sword can be ignited with a black, thorny flames as an action. If an Extra or Wild Card is defeated by an attack from this weapon afterwards, it flowers into a black flame. All attacks have a range 10 (squares) for the remainder of the combat. If a second Extra or Wild Card is defeated by this weapon in the same encounter, the weapon burns a fervent white, and you may add an extra d8 to damage dealt with this weapon for the remainder of the encounter; Capable of damaging Legendary Foes
