Messer of Holland the Itinerant, who found his way into a place damned from memory and returned hand in hand with a denizen who’d given up.
Chronicle’s name would never be recovered, and its people were forever lost. Still, there were those who did not give up hope that it could one day be found. However, hope was all most did, damned from memory as Chronicle was.
Holland was an experienced traveler of the Realms, which turned out to be exactly what was needed to reach this place. Though he never planned to do so, and though it would mean losing precious time in his mission, he could not turn away from those in need.
