Corrupted Messer
The wine poisoned sabre of Bordayne’s Wine Knights.
The Wine Knights were once traveling philanthropists who brought wine, aid, and good fortune to the Realms. As the wine dried up they became greedy and insular, eventually deforming into monsters. Still, for those who remember their kindness, it was an unforgettable trait…
…yet, there’s no one to remember anymore, and so it is a trait well forgotten. Bordayne would not survive to be written off by the Overking.
Even the steel of their weapons has been overtaken by roots. It is impossible to say whether an uncorrupted version of this weapon still exists, or if it will simply remain a legend.
