Flameburst
An odd weapon originally meant to be a firearm, but whose bayonet made this function impossible, leading to its current design. A sword is good; a flaming sword is better.
The Yoked were adaptable and inventive, even after the fall of Khoving. Many flocked to Empedocles, who was a much beloved and dear friend of Sage Sigrid.
No invention was too small for the burgeoning minds of academics, and certainly nothing was capable of being “too dangerous, impractical, and downright wasteful” as some old codgers believed.
